SPEC

We need your help

In today’s world, the triple crisis of climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss we face is so big and complicated, we are paralyzed by the scope and scale.

SPEC recognizes that taking action is the antidote to climate fear and anxiety and we’ve cultivated a vibrant community where individuals of all backgrounds can harness their unique skills and talents for this shared purpose for over 50 years.

Because of people like you, SPEC Repair Cafes have been a source of hope and inspiration for hundreds of people this year: 204 volunteers spent 1,020 hours fixing the cherished items of Metro Vancouverites – saving hundreds of electronics, bikes, textiles, and appliances from the landfill.

Your support funds the programs like the Repair Cafe that empower individuals to become Zero Waste Heroes who take action and create positive change in their communities and environments.

Will you join us and fuel the movement?
