Elder Youth Alliance for Two-Eyed Seeing

Western culture has many worthy achievements. We also have devised systems of belief, commerce, and governance that are mis-aligned with the systems of nature.  Nature is our most profound Elder and it’s time to re-align with nature.  Indigenous peoples across the planet have maintained a belief in a living planet, and an unbroken cultural connection to the land. Weaving traditional Indigenous knowledge with the best of Western knowledge, (‘Two-Eyed Seeing’) can forge a path forward that is respectful, encompassing, and healing for all life on the planet.   

Elder Youth Alliance for Two-Eyed Seeing brings together Indigenous and  Western Elders and Youth under the leadership of Elder Dr Albert Marshall who innovated Two-Eyed Seeing.  We are building trusting and respectful relationships with an intention to develop and implement a land-based curriculum to support the loving task of reconnecting to the land.  We are committed to a cultural transformation that attunes to the intelligence of the earth to navigate to the better world we long for.
