SPEC and KPU are delighted to be collaborating to host the 2019 Small Farm Session this year. The focus of the event is practical information for small scale farmers in Metro Vancouver, and enabling networking amongst farmers. The theme is "Ecosystem Services:" all the benefits that society gets from farming, and how to maximize these services on your farm. We will have talks about Integrated Pest Management, Local Composts, Cover Cropping and Payment for Ecosystem Services, as well as a tour of a farm and opportunities for farmers to learn from one another. This event has been very popular in previous years so make sure you get your ticket soon!
