Our strength lies in the dedicated support of our members and volunteers; much of our revenue comes from generous individuals like you. Your contribution will help us continue to raise awareness on important urban environmental issues and engage people in protecting their communities.
By making a donation of $20.00 or more you will receive a charitable tax receipt and automatically become a member of SPEC. As a SPEC member, you will be on our mailing list to receive a copy of our annual report. You may also vote at our annual general meeting.
The monthly donor program is the most effective way to support SPEC. The regular support provides a steady source of income that allows us to plan for future activities and respond to urgent and unexpected issues as they arise.
By becoming a monthly donor, you are also helping us reduce our administration costs, use less paper and put more of your money directly into supporting SPEC’s core work.
As a monthly donor you will receive our regular e-newsletter, invitations to our public lectures, workshops and events, as well as other tokens of our appreciation.
If you would like to become a monthly donor, please visit our account with Canada Helps to set up an online credit card donation schedule.
